Layer of film on top of hot drinks?

I keep getting a layer of film on top of my mug of Milo

I warm up my milk, then dissolve Milo in it.. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?Layer of film on top of hot drinks?
your not doing nothing wrong, it happenLayer of film on top of hot drinks?
a film will always form when you make anything hot with milk. i suggest warming up your milk and then pouring it on top of milo in a separate cup. so instead of adding milo to milk, add milk to milo. it wont completely eliminate a film from producing, but it sure helps and makes a difference. another thing you could do is, while your adding the milk to the milo, only add a little bit so its a thick paste, then add the rest of the milk so all the powder is dissolved. it will be much smoother. good luck.
try their site on ways to prepare?!?!
it happens, you're not doing anything wrong!

It's the way dairy works-the milk curdles when it gets a certain temp.

Happens with hot cereal too!
if the milk gets to hot the protein in it forms a layer of film.
