Capillaries are made of a single layer of simple columnar epithelium and it's basement membrane?

true or false?Capillaries are made of a single layer of simple columnar epithelium and it's basement membrane?
The arteriole side also has longitudinal intermitant striated muscle fibers. The veinuole side has multiple layers and thickens toward the vena cava.Capillaries are made of a single layer of simple columnar epithelium and it's basement membrane?
Sounds good to me! I know larger blood vessels are lined with simple squamous cells... so capillaries may be simple squamous too.
Terribly false

Capillaries are NOT made of a columnar epithelium but a flat endothelium paving a basal membrane.

And there are a couple of other cell types going on too.
False as capilaaries r made up of flat endothelial cells only.
