Do DVD burners usually state they can burn Dual layer or should they specifically say so?

I'm going to buy a DVD burner but I want to know if they usually burn DVD 'Dual Layer' or if I have to hunt for one that specifically states it can do so....Do DVD burners usually state they can burn Dual layer or should they specifically say so?
It will say right on the door. Dont waste your money tho. They are dysfunctional for anything but data you want to load only on your pc with that drive.Do DVD burners usually state they can burn Dual layer or should they specifically say so?
Burners are burners. If the date/movie does not fit a single layer disc it will tell you it needs more space. It will eject the disc and you insert a DL disc and burn.
usually there is a little emblem on the faceplate that will have a symbol and the letters DL on it
usually they will burn dual layer if they can burn regular, mine does ^^
DL=dual layer, they have to say so on the DVD drive~
most of them can but they should also say so on the box.
