How do chlorofluorocarbons affect earth's ozone layer?

how do chlorofluorocarbons affect earth's ozone layer? How do chlorofluorocarbons affect earth's ozone layer?
the flouride in chlorofluourcarbons is extremely stable, and one of the only elements that can carry oxygen to the outer layers of the athmosphere. Ozone is a single atom of oxygen (radiation from the sun keeps the atoms from combining into the normal state of Oxygen (called O two as there are 2 atoms).

It's not the chlorofluorcarbons themselves, the but extra oxygen, they deliver to the ozone that does most of the damage. The Ozone combines with the free oxygen and makes simple oxygen, which doesn't have the same 'filtering' properties as does Ozone. How do chlorofluorocarbons affect earth's ozone layer?
by wearing it off, makes it weaker.... i think
