my face was sunburnt a while ago and my cheeks turned bright red for a few days, than it started to peel.,,, it looked like my face was healed .. but a few days later the redness will come back at the exact same spots.. and a few days later it would peel again...this happened a few times now.. and each time i made the mistake of peeling off the skin when it wasnt ready to be peeled off..this time i waited for it to peel on its on..now all the dead skin has peeled away but the new skin is still slightly red.. there are red tiny bumps in some areas so it feels irritated and itchy? it still feels like my face is hot at times.. i thought this was suppose to stop after the peeling? what is wrong and what can i do to make it better? will this go away.. and how long does it take for new skin to heal? Why is the new layer of my skin red, irritated, there are tiny bumps and its itchy?
you need to protect your face. after your skin peels it is HIGHLY susceptible to being burned again very easily. put a high SPF sunblock on which you should be doing anyway. Why is the new layer of my skin red, irritated, there are tiny bumps and its itchy?
sounds like a deep burn that you aggravated by peeling before it was ready. Just wait it out, try aloe get to cool and soothe the skin
it sounds like blisters.....you must have REALLY burned yourself BAD.......you may want to see a doctor for this because you could end up scarring, especially since you have been picking at it....when you burn so bad that it blisters, it can take a few peelings before all the damaged/dead skin is shed......make sure you drink a lot of water and please see a doctor to make sure that no infection has set in and to get you something to keep scarring at a minimum....good luck.....
try not to peel off the dead skin you need to be treating this with something like aloe vera and if you still have this and it's been more then a few days you may have a 2nd degree sunburn and in that case you really should see your dermatologists
it called herpes
i think you have a sun burn rash
but see a dermatologist for more insight
